Daintree Discovery Tours, a well-established and proudly Port Douglas owned and operated tourism business, has been delivering unforgettable experiences in the Daintree Rainforest since 2005. We’re now on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic Tour Guide to join our team in a casual capacity, with the prospect to transition into a permanent part time role after a qualifying period.
With 2026 shaping up to be a busy and exciting year, we’re seeking someone who genuinely loves the outdoors, has a strong passion for the workplace, and is ready to get started straight away. This role involves both driving and guiding our guests through the breathtaking Daintree Rainforest, from leisurely walks and interpretive talks to swimming in pristine rainforest creeks.
To be successful in this role,
you’ll need:
A current Queensland Driver Authorisation
A valid Light Rigid (LR) licence
Solid knowledge of the Daintree Rainforest and passion for the local area (on the job training will be provided)
Flexibility, a positive attitude, and a great sense of humour
Most importantly, the ability to create an outstanding, memorable experience for our guests
