We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy community pharmacy.

This is an excellent prospect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

About the Role

We are seeking a Pharmacy Assistant who is reliable, enthusiastic and enjoys working as part of a close-knit team.

Your responsibilities will include:
Providing exceptional customer service
Assisting customers with over-the-counter products
Supporting the pharmacist and dispensary team
Merchandising and maintaining stock levels
Processing sales through the point-of-sale system
General housekeeping to maintain a clean and organised pharmacy

Initial Hours

Immediate start

This role will initially be offered on a temporary basis for approximately two months (August–September) to provide additional support while a team member is on leave.

Roster:
Monday to Friday
9:00 am – 3:00 pm

Following this period, there is an opportunity for ongoing employment with a revised roster, which may include:




Tuesdays – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm or 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm
Saturdays
Sundays

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous pharmacy, retail or customer service experience (pharmacy experience preferred)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Solid attention to detail
The ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
Flexibility to work weekends as required

Pay: $52,880.00 – $83,244.88 per year
