About the Role Nova Smash Repairs Pty Ltd is seeking a qualified and experienced Qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team in East Perth, WA.
This is a full time position responsible Motor Mechanics repair to vehicles, maintain and test motor vehicles and other internal combustion engines and related mechanical components. Responsibilities
Diagnose Mechanical and electrical faults
Dismantling engines, transmissions, steering mechanism and other components
Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrication and engine tune ups
Diagnosing and testing parts with assistance of diagnostic tools
Inspect vehicles, repairing and replacing worn or defective parts
Checking operation of vehicles after repair and before hand over to owner
Respond to vehicle breakdown calls
Maintenance of the workshop as per OH&S; regulations
Assist with the ordering and maintenance of stock
Other general duties as required
Required
Completion of Trade Certificate 3 in Automotive or Overseas equivalent
At least one - two years’ relevant work experience
Current Driver’s License
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to priortise work to meet deadlines
Good communication skills at all levels
Work within a team and display leadership
