We're looking for a reliable and passionate Cook & Cleaner to join our warm, family-owned childcare centres.

In this rewarding role, you'll prepare fresh, nutritious meals and snacks that support children's health and wellbeing, while also helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming setting for our children, families and team.

Key Responsibilities:
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
A positive, organised and reliable attitude
A genuine passion for supporting children's health and wellbeing
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the childcare facility, including classrooms, play areas, and bathrooms.
Ensure that all areas of the building are tidy, organised, and free from hazards.
Empty bins and dispose of waste responsibly.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness of staff areas.
Report any maintenance or safety concerns to the management team promptly.
Follow all health and safety protocols,



including the protected use of cleaning chemicals and materials.

Key Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience, ideally within a childcare, school, or similar setting.
Knowledge of hygiene standards and practices, particularly in childcare environments.
A friendly and approachable attitude, with an understanding of the importance of working around children.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience in food preparation (commercial kitchen experience preferred)
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
