Grazing Girls Pty Ltd is seeking a reliable and hardworking farmhand/egg collector to join our team on a casual basis. Based in Gleneagle, QLD, this role offers the flexibility of casual work whilst contributing to the daily operations of our working farm.

Grazing Girls is a family-run, free-range egg farm passionate about producing high-quality pasture-raised eggs while maintaining the highest standards of animal welfare. We're looking for a reliable, hardworking person to join our team as an Egg Collector.

About the Role
As an Egg Collector, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of our farm. Your responsibilities will include:
Collecting eggs from our free-range hens
Manual handling of egg trays and equipment
Conducting daily welfare checks to ensure our hens are healthy and thriving
Identifying and reporting any issues with birds or equipment
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in work areas
Assisting with other general farm duties as required

Weekend shifts available
Approximately 4–7 hours per shift
Weekend & 3 x Weekday shifts are available initially, with prospects for weekday fill-in work as required. From October, additional weekday shifts will become available to cover maternity leave.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Reliable, punctual and self-motivated
Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
Holds a current driver's licence
Physically fit and capable of repetitive lifting and manual handling
Passionate about animal welfare and enjoys working with livestock
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
