The Opportunity

Are you a driven sales professional with experience in welding, industrial equipment, or metal fabrication? We’re looking for an experienced Regional Sales Manager – Western to lead and grow our Western Region sales operations.

Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this role offers the opportunity to manage key accounts, support distributors, drive strategic growth initiatives, and work with industry-leading welding products and solutions across multiple industrial sectors.

What You’ll Be Doing

Sales & Business Development
Manage a team of sales staff in West and South Australia
Drive sales growth across welding equipment, consumables, and related solutions
Develop and execute strategic regional sales plans




Identify and secure recent business opportunities across fabrication, construction, oil & gas, shipbuilding, and manufacturing sectors
Deliver technical product presentations and demonstrations
Prepare sales forecasts and market analysis reports

Customer & Distributor Management
Build solid relationships with distributors and end users
Provide product training, technical guidance, and sales support
Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support

The Candidate
Significant experience in welding products, industrial equipment, or metal fabrication sales
Strong understanding of welding processes including MIG, TIG, Stick, FCAW, and SAW
Proven success in achieving and exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong relationship-building and customer management abilities
Good computer skills and attention to detail
Ability to travel frequently within the assigned region
A commercially focused mindset with a passion for delivering results
