An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our iconic Rottnest Island Bakery team as a Pastry Chef working and living on Rottnest Island where it’s beautiful one day, spectacular the next.

Our bakery team work together to produce bread and pastries from scratch and our success depends on delivering the best customer experience we can. If you are energetic, outgoing, enjoy working in a team and most importantly have an “Of Course Attitude” then this is the role for you.

This is a permanent full-time salaried position offered with heavily subsidised accommodation to support the requirement to live on the Island. This role requires regular shift work including early morning start times.

Skills/experience:
Qualified Pastry Chef or demonstrated experience in a similar role
Demonstrated experience in the creation of cakes, slices and other bakery specific products
Excellent organisational and time management skills
A self-motivated and pro-active reliable team player with a good eye for detail and presentation
Knowledge of Food Safety practices
