Serving the local Pakenham community, the business is known for its technical expertise, up-to-date equipment and strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction, ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop performing safely and reliably. About the Position:
The Motor Mechanic role is central to the workshop’s day-to-day operations, responsible for accurately diagnosing vehicle faults, performing high-quality repairs and maintenance, and ensuring vehicles are returned to customers in optimal condition.
This position plays a key part in upholding the business’s reputation for reliable automotive service and supporting effective workshop throughput. Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose vehicles by mechanical testing and observation Provide detailed estimates of repairs and replacements Repair and replace diagnosed issues
Conduct routine maintenance and service aiming to vehicle functionality and longevity Test drive vehicles after repairs to ensure complete repair work is performed File appropriate documentation on service and repair works completed
Requirements: Australian citizens and permanent residents are encouraged to apply. Certificate IV or higher trade qualifications.
Minimum 3 years of work experience; experience in radiator repair preferred. Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously, strong technical diagnostic and repair skills, and a demonstrated commitment to excellent customer service. How to Apply:
