Storeperson – Food Wholesaler

About the Role
This hands-on role involves managing stock, preparing orders, and keeping our warehouse running smoothly including work in freezer and chiller environments. If you're physically fit, organised, and enjoy working in a team workplace, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
· Accurately pick and pack customer orders.
· Receive, check, and store incoming goods.
· Work in freezer/chiller areas as part of daily tasks.
· Maintain a clean, tidy, and secure warehouse workplace.
· Rotate stock and monitor product freshness.
· Assist with basic inventory control and stocktakes.
· Liaise with drivers and sales staff as needed.
· Deliveries to existing customers.
Requirements
· Knowledge of food and food handling is essential.
· Physically fit – regular lifting and manual handling required.
· Comfortable working in cold storage (freezer/chiller) conditions.
· Manual driver’s licence essential.
· Good attention to detail and time management.
· Basic computer skills (for inventory and dispatching tasks).
