Primary Teacher – Morawa District High School

Permanent full‑time position commencing as soon as possible.

Role Overview

Teach and support students from Pre‑Primary to Year 6 in a high‑performing independent public school.

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
Foster a protected, accountable, and differentiated learning environment.
Use the Quality Teaching Strategy and Positive Behaviour Support expectations.
Collaborate with colleagues, staff, parents, and the wider community.
Engage in ongoing professional learning and support whole‑school processes.

Qualifications & Experience
Sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and commitment to the Quality Teaching Strategy.
Experience delivering high‑impact lessons to Pre‑Primary to Year 6 students.
Solid organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Evidence of exemplary teaching skills with capacity to cultivate a differentiated learning setting.
Willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning and support whole‑school processes.





Eligibility
Aust. or NZ citizen, permanent resident, or visa holder with relevant work rights.
Must have a WA Working with Children Check.

Benefits
Country Teaching Program Allowance: $10,210 per year.
District allowance: $3,210 per year.
Temporary Attraction and Retention Incentive: $1,956.
