Senior Financial Accountant - Hybrid Working - Fintech company - Immediate Start - Top 4 CA is highly desired

My client is an established tech company based in the heart of Melbourne. They are looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join their growing team and help to move the company forward. This is an exciting role for an ambitious candidate looking to really grow with the company.

Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination and execution of account reconciliations, budget compilation, and back-up to the accounts payable function
Maintain the general ledger by processing all company invoices, payments, and purchases
Review and verify accuracy of financial and contract paperwork and processes
Assist with the year end audit
Summarize and prepare financial records and statements for external reporting




Prepare the company statutory accounts

Qualifications
Newly Qual Accountant (ideally top 4 practice) with at least one year of industry experience
Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
Previous experience within Financial Services (Whether in practice or separate)
Experience working with offshore teams/shared service centres
Solid technical accounting knowledge of IFRS
SQL experience would be advantageous
