Oracle eBusiness Suite Applications DBA, Contract

A project with one of our clients is currently seeking an Oracle eBusiness Suite Applications DBA to support and maintain enterprise Oracle EBS environments. Unfortunately, we can only consider Australian Citizens for this chance.

Contract Details
Location: Sydney, preferred
Contract length: 6 months, with potential extension
Eligibility: Australian Citizenship required
Rate: $1,180 per day, inclusive of agency margin

Role Overview

You'll be responsible for the ongoing management and maintenance of Oracle EBS 12.2.X environments, ensuring availability, security, and performance. The role involves working closely with both onshore and offshore teams in a rapid‑moving, collaborative setup.

Key Responsibilities
Manage large on‑premise Oracle eBusiness Suite implementations
Perform patching and cloning across multiple Oracle EBS 12.2.X environments
Administer concurrent managers, workflow services, and support database tuning activities
Implement and maintain Oracle Server Security Standards, including Unix account locking and password policies
Ensure compliance with client security and maintenance policies
Proactively monitor application health, database performance,



and infrastructure
Implement Single Sign On and Multi Factor Authentication
Build and support multi‑node Oracle EBS environments
Troubleshoot across application, database, and Unix layers
Maintain configuration workbooks and system administration documentation
Collaborate effectively with onshore and offshore teams across time zones

Required Skills and Experience
Strong experience administering Oracle eBusiness Suite 12.2.X
Proven capability with patching, cloning, and core EBS system administration
Solid Unix, Linux administration skills
Experience with security hardening and compliance in Oracle environments
Comfortable working with distributed teams and multiple time zones

Nice to Have
SSO and MFA implementation for on‑premise Oracle EBS
Multi‑node Oracle EBS environment experience
Oracle Enterprise Manager exposure for Oracle EBS
Functional awareness of EBS modules such as AP, AR, GL, Procurement
Exposure to integration architecture and interface design for Oracle EBS
