Job Overview

Our client is a global manufacturer of high-performance packaging machinery and is expanding their service team across NSW and Victoria. They supply advanced systems including thermoforming, flow wrapping, tray sealing, vertical form fill & seal, and other automated packaging technologies. With strong market demand and a growing customer base, they are seeking an experienced Service Technician to deliver onsite service, commissioning, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities
Install, service, and maintain automated packaging and filling equipment
Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform breakdown repairs
Provide onsite training and support to operators and customers
Interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and customer requirements
Prepare service reports, quotes, and documentation
Travel to metro and regional client sites as required (most travel is local and within state)
Maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams




Manage priorities in a rapid-paced, customer-driven workplace

About You
Electrical/Electronic Trade Certificate III, Disconnect/Reconnect license, or Mechanical trade background
2+ years’ post-trade experience in servicing industrial machinery
Robust electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capability
Experience working independently in field service environments
Solid customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and related software)
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset
