Senior Venue Manager — Landmark Eastern Suburbs Pub (Sydney)

A much-loved Eastern Suburbs pub is looking for a Senior Venue Manager to own the room, a tight floor, a sharp bar, a compliant gaming room, and a team that knows what excellent looks like.

You’ll set the pace, lift the standards, and build a crew that can run a cracking shift whether you’re on the floor or not. Real leadership, broad scope, and genuine commercial room to move.

What you’ll run
The floor and bar every shift — visible, decisive, locking in service standards and pace
A robust team — hiring well, coaching supervisors, running sharp briefings
The numbers — costed rosters, labour vs sales, GP, stock, waste and supplier terms
Gaming — compliance, presentation, activations and performance
Weekly reporting that actually leads to action,



across SevenRooms and Jensen POS

You’ll also work closely with the premium bistro on site on guest flow and shared standards.

What you’ll bring

Proven Venue Manager or Senior VM experience across busy, multi-space pubs — bar and floor, gaming exposure ideal. A coaching mindset, solid commercial IQ, compliance confidence, and a calm, credible presence when the room’s full.
