We’re working with a quick-growing renewable energy operator looking for an Operations Engineer to help keep Australia’s clean energy infrastructure performing at its best. This role isn’t just desk-based — you’ll split your time between engineering analysis and site work across WA, supporting solar farms, battery storage systems, and remote microgrids. Expect variety: one week you could be troubleshooting a control system, the next you might be in office at a national park or Defence facility ensuring critical systems run smoothly.
Base pay range
A$110,000.00/yr - A$160,000.00/yr
What you’ll do
Manage and optimise solar, battery, and hybrid energy systems
Provide technical support to field teams and contractors
Troubleshoot, commission, and improve system performance
Contribute to control systems, networking, and cybersecurity for power assets
What we’re looking for
Degree in Electrical, Electronics,
or Control Systems Engineering (or similar)
Experience with automation/control systems & interpreting schematics
Solid communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to travel for on-site work
(Bonus) Knowledge of SCADA, BMS, inverters, and renewable energy systems
Mix of office engineering and hands-on site work
Travel to some of the most unique and remote locations in WA
