What we are looking for:

A Solution Architect with expertise in GCP & AI to join our team. This will be an initial 12 month contract + extensions or potentially move into a permanent position.

Hybrid mode, 2 days per week in the Sydney office.

Key responsibilities:
Architectural Design: Define the overall system architecture, technology stack, and best practices for our entire portfolio, from web applications to cutting-edge AI services and LLM.
Design and lead the development of Gen AI applications, ensuring the infrastructure and tooling can support the unique demands of LLM and other generative AI workloads.
Strategic Planning: Partner with product and engineering leads to translate high-level business goals into transparent technical blueprints and long-term roadmaps.
Technical Governance:



Ensure that recent projects and features align with the architectural standards you've established. You will be responsible for documenting and communicating these principles.
System Metrics: Define the key architectural metrics for system monitoring and alerting, ensuring that our observability tools capture the right data for performance and reliability analysis.
Data Strategy: Lead the design of data management and governance pipelines, ensuring data is handled securely and is ready for use in machine learning models.

Skills & experience required:
Proven experience as a Solution Architect
Experience designing large scale E2E solutions and technical leading teams
Expertise in GCP, with a comprehensive understanding of its various services.
Experience with Containerization (Kubernetes), and machine learning platforms.
Experience working on LLM/AI projects
Excellent communication skills and stake holder engagement experience.
