We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join a leading residential builder delivering high-quality Class 2 apartment developments across Sydney.

This is an prospect to join a well-established business with a strong pipeline of work, taking ownership of the engineering function on a landmark residential project. Working closely with the Project Manager, you will play a key role in coordinating site operations, managing subcontractors, driving programme outcomes, and ensuring commercial and technical objectives are achieved.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the engineering function from project commencement through to completion
Coordinate subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to ensure programme milestones are achieved
Review drawings, manage RFIs, and resolve technical construction issues
Oversee QA, ITPs, inspections, and project documentation
Assist with procurement, subcontractor management, and cost control
Monitor project programme and identify opportunities to improve delivery
Mentor and support Site Engineers and Graduate Engineers
Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and environmental standards





Requirements
Proven experience as a Senior Project Engineer or experienced Project Engineer delivering Class 2 residential or mixed-use developments
Demonstrated experience on projects valued at $50M+
Robust understanding of construction methodology, sequencing, and project delivery
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Ability to coordinate multiple work fronts while maintaining programme and quality objectives
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
