THE ROLE
As a casual Safety and Security Officer, you'll play a vital role in creating a safe and welcoming environment for our team members, guests and contractors. Your day-to-day will include:
Roving and static monitoring of the entire Centre
Attending to team member and guest incidents
Attending to first aid requirements
Assisting with guest enquiries
Control room monitoring
Issuing and controlling contractor passes
ABOUT YOU
You're a people-focused qualified who takes safety seriously and thrives in a fast-paced, guest-facing setting. You'll bring:
Essential requirements:
QLD Security Licence including Security Officer (unarmed), Crowd Controller and Security Officer (monitoring)
Current Apply First Aid Certificate with CPR
QLD Responsible Service of Alcohol Statement of Attainment
In addition to:
A genuine willingness and passion to work with people to help and assist
Excellent customer service experience obtained from a busy guest-facing role
Highly effective communication and negotiation skills
A commitment to workplace health and safety and the ability to champion a safety culture
Availability to work a variety of shifts (Monday to Sunday)
Full Australian working rights are required for this position in addition to a probity check.
