River City Fasteners is seeking a reliable, motivated and hands-on Warehouse, Dispatch & Delivery Operator to join our team.
This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, order picking and packing, dispatch, inventory handling and customer deliveries. It would suit someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy and organisation, and is comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
About the RoleKey responsibilities will include:Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficientlyReceiving, checking and putting away incoming stockPreparing and processing orders for dispatch and deliveryLoading and unloading delivery vehicles safelyDelivering customer orders in a skilled and timely mannerChecking orders and completing delivery and dispatch paperworkAssisting with stock control, stocktakes and inventory managementMaintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouseProviding friendly and professional customer serviceSupporting the warehouse and wider team with general day-to-day duties as required

punctual and has a strong work ethicHas excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their workIs organised and able to manage tasks efficientlyIs physically fit and comfortable with manual handlingCan work independently and contribute positively within a teamHas positive communication and customer service skillsHolds a current Australian manual driver licence with a protected driving recordIs confident driving a delivery vehicleHas previous experience in warehousing, pick packing, dispatch or deliveryFishbowl Inventory experience highly regardedHolds a forklift licence or has forklift experience — advantageousHas experience with fasteners, tools, construction supplies or industrial products — highly regarded
