Kitchen Manager – The Great British Chippy

We're looking for an experienced kitchen qualified to lead our team and help us deliver consistently excellent food every day.

This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys cooking, leading by example and taking ownership of the kitchen. If you're an experienced fryer, cook or kitchen supervisor ready for the next step, we'd love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:
Leading the kitchen and service team during service
Training staff to deliver consistent, high‑quality food
Maintaining cleaning, food safety and hygiene standards
Preparing rosters
Stock ordering and stock control
Working closely with the owners to continually improve the business

What we’re looking for:




Previous commercial kitchen experience
Confident cooking and fryer experience
Strong leadership and communication skills
A high standard of cleanliness and organisation
Someone who takes pride in producing quality food

What we offer:
$37.00 per hour + super
Full‑time, permanent role
