Role Description The nanny role is a full-time, on-site position located in Moruya, NSW. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising children, engaging them in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities, and supporting their social and emotional development. The nanny will prepare snacks and straightforward meals for children, assist with basic hygiene routines, and help maintain a tidy and safe play and living setting. The role also involves school or activity drop-offs and pick-ups as needed, following household routines, and communicating regularly with parents about the children’s daily activities, progress, and any concerns.



Flexibility to support occasional evening or weekend care may be required by mutual agreement.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience in childcare, nannying, or early childhood support, with a genuine interest in child development and wellbeing.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with children and adults, including transparent reporting to parents.
Ability to organize daily schedules, manage multiple tasks, and maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment for children.
Relevant certifications such as First Aid and CPR for children, along with a valid Working With Children Check or equivalent.
Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license for school runs and activities, if required.
Capacity to respect family values, maintain confidentiality, and demonstrate professionalism, patience, and cultural sensitivity.
Prior experience in Moruya or familiarity with the local area and community resources is beneficial but not required.
