Expected salary: $73,000 - $80,000 per year

Fratello Italian is a well-established Italian restaurant known for its authentic flavors, fresh ingredients, and high-quality service. We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team and contribute to our tradition of excellence.

Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and cook a variety of Italian dishes, ensuring quality and consistency.
Develop and update menus with seasonal ingredients and authentic Italian recipes.
Oversee food preparation and kitchen operations to maintain efficiency and compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage stock levels, monitor inventory, and ensure cost-effective kitchen operations.
Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards.
Ensure hygiene, safety, and quality control regulations are followed in line with Australian food safety laws.
Collaborate with management on menu pricing and cost control strategies.




Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen at all times.

Skills & Qualifications
Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
Proven experience as a Chef for at least a year, preferably in Italian cuisine.
Solid knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, ingredients, and presentation.
Ability to work efficiently in a high-paced setting.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Understanding of food safety and HACCP regulations.
Creativity in developing innovative and appealing menu items.
