Liquor Barons is a co-operative of independently owned WA bottle shops, not a franchise, and not part of a bigger group. Our South Perth store is looking for that outstanding individual who will strive to make our guests' time with us an unforgettable experience we are looking for a Part-Time/Casual Assistant Store Manager.
We're after an Assistant Store Manager who genuinely enjoys people and makes every customer feel like a regular.
What you'll be doing
Leading the team on the floor and setting the standard for customer service
Running daily operations — ordering, stock control, merchandising, cash handling and store presentation
Training and mentoring staff in service delivery and confident add-on selling
Driving sales and hitting budget, without it ever feeling like a sales pitch
Upholding responsible service of alcohol obligations and keeping compliance tight
Tailoring the range and in-store activity to South Perth customers
What you'll bring
Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar high volume, quick-paced retail
A genuinely charismatic,
energetic personality with a desire to succeed
A positive and respectful management style, with the confidence to manage performance when needed
Excellent communication, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
Solid product knowledge across beer, wine and spirits or a genuine appetite to build it
Current RSA and Approved Manager's Card (or willingness to obtain)
Adaptable availability, with weekend shifts an expectation
