We’re seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join a high‑volume food manufacturing setting. This role suits someone who enjoys hands‑on mechanical and electrical work, thrives in a rapid‑paced production setting, and takes pride in keeping equipment running safely and efficiently.
About the Role: You’ll be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving a wide range of production and packaging machinery. The work is wide-ranging, essential to daily operations, and offers robust long‑term stability.
Key Responsibilities
Reactive and preventative maintenance across production lines
Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical and automation faults
Servicing conveyors, mixers, ovens, pumps, motors and packaging equipment
Completing maintenance logs, safety checks and compliance documentation
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime
What You Bring
Trade qualification: Maintenance Fitter, Electrician or Dual‑Trade
Experience in FMCG, food, beverage or packaging manufacturing
Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding capability
Ability to work safely within strict hygiene and compliance standards
Comfortable with occasional roster variation (7–3 and 10–6)
Valuable communication and teamwork skills

$90,000–$100,000 + super + overtime
