The Opportunity
Working as part of a skilled and supportive team, you'll contribute to the manufacture and fabrication of a variety of products while building on your existing welding and fabrication experience. This role offers a great opportunity to expand your technical skills, learn from experienced tradespeople, and further develop your career in a hands-on workshop environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with welding and fabrication activities under the guidance of experienced tradespeople.
Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Perform grinding, cutting, drilling, folding, riveting and finishing tasks.
Prepare materials and components for fabrication.
Support workshop operations while maintaining quality standards.
Follow safe work practices and contribute to a clean and organised workshop.
Learn new fabrication techniques and develop your welding capability.
About You To be successful, you will bring:
Experience in a trade, manufacturing, construction, engineering or fabrication workplace.
Confidence using hand and power tools.
A willingness to learn and develop your welding and fabrication skills.
A strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Valuable attention to detail and commitment to quality.
A safety-first approach.
A current Victorian Driver Licence.
Physical fitness and the ability to work in a hands-on workshop environment.
