The Treatment Plant
Operator (TPO) plays a crucial role in protecting the environment and public health through the day‑to‑day operation of our Resource Recovery Centres.
Responsibilities - Support the operations team via routine allocated tasks to deliver reliable and productive customer service activities of core wastewater treatment, including the provision of recycled water, off‑network waste and co‑digestion receivals.
Carry out straightforward inspection and cleaning tasks, following instructions and working under direct or indirect supervision to complete the allocated tasks.
Follow a range of mandatory procedures and methods of work to safeguard the environment and the wellbeing of oneself and others.
Provide operational support by performing a range of routine activities using existing systems and protocols.
Carry out operational tasks by following established processes and, for non‑routine or abnormal events, escalating to Operators for support.
Qualifications - Willingness and desire to learn, be curious, and build relationships with colleagues.
Interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with other technical and skilled personnel.
Foundational understanding of mechanical principles.
C class driver’s licence.
