Looking for a Cook role with mostly daytime hours, a supportive team, and one of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland's most scenic workplaces?

The Barrel at Clouds Vineyard is looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team.

This is a fantastic chance for someone who enjoys preparing quality café-style food, working as part of a close-knit team, and contributing to weddings and private functions throughout the year - all while enjoying a healthier work-life balance with predominantly daytime service.

Please note:

We are located in Maleny, approximately 15 minutes from Landsborough in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. This role is ideal for applicants who are comfortable with the commute or are based locally.

What You'll Be Doing
Preparing and cooking high-quality meals to a consistent standard
Assisting with food preparation and daily kitchen operations
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
Following food safety and hygiene procedures
Working collaboratively with the Head Chef and kitchen team
Assisting with weddings,



functions and special events throughout the year
Helping with stock rotation and maintaining kitchen standards

What We’re Looking For
Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen
A positive attitude and solid work ethic
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Pride in producing quality food with attention to detail
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Reliability and punctuality
Availability to work weekends and occasional evening functions

Reliable transport and willingness to commute to Maleny daily
Availability for weekend shifts
Full working rights in Australia
Previous commercial kitchen experience
