Overview
headspace Rockingham invites young people aged 16–25 to volunteer as a Youth Reference Group (YRG) Member. The role supports shaping youth services, ensuring relevance and engagement, contributing to decision-making, and offering diverse skills. The program includes comprehensive training, recognizes achievements, and fosters a youth-friendly setting. We collaborate with local youth organizations and conduct ongoing community outreach to adapt services to evolving needs. Join us to make a meaningful impact on the wellbeing of the young people we support.
Responsibilities
Improve the way the Centre feels.
Attend events.
Work on projects.
Provide feedback.
Brainstorm ideas.
Support team-oriented initiatives with local youth organizations and participate in community outreach.
Attend monthly meetings at headspace Rockingham for two hours.
Qualifications
Aged 16–25 years old.
Interest in making a difference in the youth space.
Willingness to participate in training, discussions, and activities.
Commitment
Regular commitment; less than 6 months.
