Kimberley Surveying is a small, owner operated surveying business based in the small town of Kununurra, Western Australia. We service the entire Kimberley and Western Northern Territory. We are looking to bring on additional surveyors to meet increased workload.

Positions available

2x Experienced Surveyor A surveyor with experience who is ready to get straight into completing projects independently, working as a one man crew with provided vehicle and equipment.

Remuneration will be negotiated based on skill level, quality and efficiency of work. This will be reviewed regularly with prospect for increase to match skill level.

Relocation and accommodation assistance can be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications & Requirements
Must have a Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Surveying or equivalent.
Fit for work. Kununurra has extreme climate with high temperature and humidity over summer/wet season.
Must have long term work rights in Australia or be eligible for Visa including Skills Assessment.
Must be in Australia or able to relocate immediately.
Experience with survey software, GNSS and Robotic Total Station equipment is essential.

Tasks & responsibilities
Conduct surveys across a large range or project types including: civil, engineering, construction, roads, bridges,



irrigation, farming, land development, mining, machine control, dams, aerial surveys, and more.
Work remotely and autonomously
Work with clients, architects, project managers and engineers to achieve spatial objectives.
Detail/Feature Surveys - Collecting spatial data to create digital and PDF drawings and maps
Site Setout ranging from millimeter accuracy to large scale civil stake out
Interpret design drawings and coordinate with engineers and supervisors to provide construction mark out.
As-Constructed Surveys and Conformance Reports
Apply survey techniques creatively to varying unique projects
Process field surveys and draft drawings and reports
