Set in a heritage building in Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley, Agnes is an experience built around the elemental art of wood-fired cooking—no gas, no electricity, just flame.
Set across three thoughtfully designed levels, including a main dining room, wine bar and terrace, Agnes celebrates creativity, craftsmanship and seasonal produce. Our meticulously curated beverage program featuring an evolving wine cellar, thoughtful cocktails and rare spirits, complements the bold flavours of our open‑fire menu.

The Role

As a Kitchen Hand at Agnes, you will play a vital support role in the kitchen, helping to maintain the flow of service through cleanliness, organisation, and teamwork.



This position is suited to someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to be part of a focused and high‑performing team.

This role will be well suited to someone who:
Has a positive attitude and is motivated by strong teamwork
Thrives in a rapid‑paced, physically active setting
Demonstrates willingness to perform cleaning, dishwashing, and lifting tasks as needed
Is motivated by working in a quality driven workplace with world‑class chefs
Has flexibility to work across shifts from 10am opens to 1am closes
Food Safety Certificate required

This is a Casual position offering 24h+ per week, applicants on student visa's are encouraged to apply.
