About the Role The primary function of the Operations Manager is to ensure the smooth and productive operation of the administration office, with particular focus on the accuracy and timeliness of estimating and scheduling processes. This includes managing workflow across the team, ensuring quotes are delivered within required timeframes, and overseeing the scheduling of installations in alignment with builder programs and operational capacity 4.

The Operations Manager contributes to the ongoing improvement of office systems, processes and team capability. This includes identifying inefficiencies, implementing process improvements, developing standard procedures and ensuring the team is well-led, well-supported and performing to a consistently high standard. The role also acts as the key point of contact between the office, operational supervisors and installation teams, ensuring information flows accurately and issues are resolved promptly.

About you
Demonstrated experience in office or operations management, ideally 5 or more years, with a proven track record of leading a team




Solid organisational and workflow management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities across multiple functions
Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with builders, supervisors and internal teams
High attention to detail, particularly in relation to estimating accuracy and documentation
Ability to identify inefficiencies and implement practical process improvements
Experience in residential construction, roofing or a trade-based industry is highly regarded
Familiarity with estimating or scheduling coordination is advantageous
A calm, solutions-focused approach to problem solving and operational issues
Strong people leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate a small team
