About the role
We are looking for a motivated Dental Assistant to join our friendly specialist orthodontic clinic. In this role, you will provide chairside support and play an integral part in delivering high-quality patient care.
Your responsibilities will include preparing treatment rooms,
assisting orthodontists and oral health therapists during procedures, performing instrument sterilisation and infection control duties, using digital imaging and scanning equipment, and maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment. Some reception duties may also be required.
About you:
We are looking for someone who is proactive and eager to contribute positively to the team.
Minimum two years experience in a dental or orthodontic setting
Experience in both chairside assisting and reception duties
Robust communication skills, both verbal and written
Excellent attention to detail
A friendly, caring nature and the ability to build rapport with patients and team members
Certificate III or IV in Dental Assisting (highly desirable)
