The Prospect
AUS Employment Services is seeking experienced Servicemen to support the servicing and maintenance of wheeled and tracked earthmoving machinery.
Working an 8:6 days and 7:7 nights roster, you will assist with scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and repairs across a range of mining and earthmoving equipment. This position would suit someone with robust mechanical aptitude who can work independently while contributing effectively within a maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing on wheeled and tracked earthmoving machinery
Assist with preventative maintenance, repairs and breakdown work
Support the diagnosis and troubleshooting of faults on heavy equipment
Identify equipment faults during servicing and rectify them within your level of competency
Report outstanding faults and maintenance requirements to workshop management
Operate a service truck safely and efficiently
Maintain servicing records,
tools and service equipment
Work independently and collaboratively to complete assigned tasks
Maintain a strong commitment to workplace safety and quality assurance
About You To be successful in this position, you will have:
Previous experience as a Serviceperson within a mining, civil or heavy workshop environment
Experience servicing mobile earthmoving machinery
Experience operating a service truck
A current HR driver's licence
Sound mechanical aptitude and fault identification skills
The ability to work safely with minimal supervision
A robust commitment to health, safety and quality
High Risk Work Licences including WP, LF or Rigging will be highly regarded. Why Join AUS?
