About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Outdoor Carpenter to join us full time. In this role you will run carpentry from start to finish, lead onsite teams, and uphold the standards that our clients expect.

Responsibilities include:
Own the scope of decks, pergolas, alfresco areas, privacy screens, pool houses, fencing, garages, and boat and storage sheds.
Read plans, sequence work, direct and mentor the team, purchase materials, manage deliveries, and keep the Project Director informed without needing to be chased.
Prepare internal cost estimates for carpentry scopes and build supplier relationships.
Communicate directly with clients on site, ensuring qualified and transparent communication.

What We Are Looking For




Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent; Builder’s licence preferred.
Proven experience running outdoor or structural carpentry independently, from start to finish.
Demonstrated ability to lead, direct, and mentor a team on site.
Solid ability to read and work from construction plans and documentation.
Experience preparing cost estimates for carpentry scopes, ideally in Excel.
Proven ability to build and maintain supplier relationships in the construction industry.
High standards of client communication and professionalism on site.
Comfortable using project‑management software as part of daily workflow.
White card as a minimum; additional licences and tickets viewed favourably.
