What you will be doing

As a Senior Embedded System Engineer - AI, you will design and develop embedded software and AI-enabled solutions for Linux-based, edge,



and cloud-connected environments. The role involves building high-quality C/C++/python applications, developing and maintaining embedded Linux platforms using Yocto, and contributing across the full software development lifecycle—from requirements gathering and system design through to testing, deployment, and ongoing support. Working closely with software, hardware, AI, and product teams, you will help deliver integrated solutions that leverage technologies such as machine vision, machine learning, and Generative AI to enhance industrial and connected products.
Beyond hands-on development, you will provide technical leadership in the design and architecture of embedded and software-hardware systems, supporting delivery teams with expert guidance and practical solutions. You will champion innovation, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across teams while fostering an inclusive culture aligned with Orica’s values.
