Working closely with the National Procurement, Operations, Cold Store and Production Managers this key role will ensure that the daily raw material needs for the food service division are picked and ready as and when required with the correct products being allocated to production.

The role will support the National Procurement Manager and develop an understanding of where our food service raw materials are sourced from and how they are used in production.

You will be responsible for managing dates of all stocks for both the wholesale and food service divisions and be the link between the cold store and processing areas.

You will be responsible for managing dates of all stocks for both the wholesale and food service divisions and be the link between the cold store and processing areas.

Attributes

· Experience in logistics, stores or warehousing setting;

· Experience sorting through inventory and stock, as well as storing it away in the correct location;

· Able to build and maintaining robust relationships with internal stakeholders;

· Experience in receiving and distributing inventory;

· Experience in accurate and cost-effective inventory control;

· Understanding of managing dates of inventory:

· Exposure to computer-based inventory systems and reporting with high attention to detail;

· Current High-Reach Forklift Licence (preferred);

· Robust data and analytical skills;

· Red meat experience

· Sound knowledge of Microsoft excel

· Procurement of food service products / smallgoods
