The Role The Senior Food

Technologist will play a key role in driving current product development, product optimisation, and commercialisation projects across a diverse product portfolio.

Key responsibilities include
Leading product development and innovation projects from concept through to commercial launch
Managing product reformulation, optimisation, and value engineering initiatives to support business and customer objectives
Collaborating closely with Operations, Quality, Procurement, Supply Chain, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver successful outcomes
Conducting factory trials, scale-up activities, and commercialisation programs across manufacturing sites




Monitoring consumer, market, ingredient, and technology trends to identify opportunities for innovation and growth
Managing customer development briefs and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within scope
Building strong relationships with suppliers and external partners to support product innovation
Ensuring all products comply with food safety, quality, regulatory, and customer requirements Your Background To be considered for this opportunity, you will bring:
Previous experience within Food Technology, Product Development, Innovation, or R&D; in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment
Proven experience delivering successful NPD and commercialisation projects
Solid technical understanding of food manufacturing processes, ingredients, and product development methodologies
Experience working cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Commercial teams
Robust project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
