An exciting prospect has arisen for a Senior Electronics Engineer to join a growing technology company in Cambridge. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and validation of advanced electronic systems utilized in high-performance and mission-critical applications.
The Senior Electronics Engineer will lead hardware design activities from the initial concept through to production, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver robust and high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of analogue, digital, and mixed-signal electronic hardware.
Perform schematic capture, PCB design, and component selection.
Support the prototyping process, including bring-up, debugging, and validation in the laboratory.
Collaborate with systems, software, RF, and mechanical engineers to ensure successful integration of electronic systems.
Contribute to design reviews, documentation, and compliance activities.
Requirements
A degree in Electronic or Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
Significant experience in electronic circuit design, PCB development, and laboratory validation.
Familiarity with high-speed digital, RF, or defence-related systems is preferred.
Robust problem-solving abilities and a capacity for technical ownership.
