Take the Lead as Our Next Chef Manager

Location: Craigieburn, Victoria
Salary: $80,000 per annum + Super
Roster: Monday to Friday | 7:00am-3:00pm

Cater Care Australia is seeking an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead kitchen operations at one of our sites in Craigieburn.

This hands-on leadership role is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food delivery, compliance with food safety standards, and effective team performance. Key Responsibilities
Lead daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and service delivery
Oversee budget management, stock ordering, and inventory control
Bring creativity to menu planning and recipe development
Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene,



and quality standards
Lead, coach, and support the kitchen team while overseeing bulk meal production

Desired Skills and Experience

About You
Qualified Chef with a relevant trade qualification and a current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
Proven experience managing commercial kitchens, ideally within hospitality or catering environments
Robust leadership, communication, organisational, and time management skills, with demonstrated kitchen operations experience
Proficient in Google Workspace applications, with a current driver's licence and reliable transport
Current annual flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain one) and willingness to complete a National Criminal History Check
