An established independent marketing agency is looking for a Senior Account Director / Group Account Director to step into a key client leadership role.

This is a hands-on opportunity to lead one of the agency's largest accounts, working across integrated marketing campaigns, brand strategy, content, CRM, digital, social, website projects and reporting. You'll partner closely with senior client stakeholders, oversee a Senior Account Manager and help drive commercially successful marketing outcomes. The role centres on leading client relationships, integrated marketing and commercial ownership.

You'll be responsible for:
Leading the day-to-day relationship with a major client
Providing strategic marketing and campaign leadership
Managing integrated projects across creative, media, digital, CRM, social and content
Supporting campaign planning and marketing strategy
Working closely with an in-house media team
Managing marketing budgets, commercial performance and account profitability
Mentoring one Senior Account Manager
Building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard.

You'll bring:




Senior Account Director or Group Account Director experience within a marketing, creative or advertising agency
A solid understanding of marketing strategy, not just project delivery
Experience leading large integrated client accounts
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and presenting strategic recommendations
Commercial acumen, including managing budgets, scopes and profitability
Experience collaborating with media teams (agency or in-house preferred)
Previous people leadership experience

You'll be someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, thrives in a fast-paced agency setting and can quickly become a trusted advisor. This is an immediate start chance on an initial 6–12 week fixed-term contract, with the potential to become a permanent role for the right person.
