We are partnering with a highly specialised software vendor to find a hands-on Solutions Application Architect. This is a 6 to 7-month contract delivering secure, mission-critical digital platforms for highly regulated enterprise clients.

The Role:
Lead end-to-end application, integration, and data architecture for core platform initiatives.
Architect contemporary, API-first systems: event-driven microservices with fraud prevention built in from the ground up
Act as a technical "doer", prototyping integration patterns and validating engineering proof-of-concepts directly alongside development squads.
Navigate strict Australian regulatory, privacy, and compliance frameworks.

What We Are Looking For:




Demonstrated history of modernising core legacy platforms and integrating third-party systems via secure APIs (OAuth2, OIDC, IAM).
Robust expertise in Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and secure data architecture (data lakes, Medallion architecture).
Background in regulated, mid-size to enterprise banking or neo-banking/financial services. Able to move quick and cut through red tape.
A pragmatic builder, not a high-level advisor or reviewer. You must be comfortable getting into the technical weeds and delivering under pressure.
