Senior Digital Marketer (Maternity Leave Contract)

We're a Perth marketing consultancy looking for a senior, AI-fluent digital marketer to cover one of our team while she's on maternity leave. You'll run the day-to-day for a portfolio of clients: their paid campaigns, email, organic social, creative, and reporting.

This is a 9-month contract starting anytime from now until the beginning of September 2026, with a robust chance of extension while our team member is on leave, and real potential to convert to a permanent full time role after that.

We work with a tight roster of retail, e‑commerce, hospitality and B2B clients across Australia, running their paid media, email, organic social and creative. We're a small, senior team. The work is varied, the pace is real, and what you do lands straight in front of clients.

What you'll do

Plan, build and optimise paid campaigns across Meta, TikTok and Google Ads.





Produce the creative that runs in those campaigns: ad images, email visuals and other assets, using AI generation tools alongside your own design skills.

Build and schedule email campaigns and flows in Klaviyo.

Own organic social strategy, scheduling and engagement.

Run client reporting through our custom data platform, turning the numbers into recommendations clients can act on.

Set up AI automations for the repeating and scheduled work, so the team's time goes to the things that actually need a human.

Run client relationships directly: WIP meetings, reporting calls, and being the person clients trust to have it handled.

Guide and review the work of a junior team member and freelancers.

We use AI heavily, especially on the creative side, and we've built our own data platform for client reporting. You need to be genuinely robust with both.
