Kitchen Attendant / Prep Chef

Join our agile team at The Standard Market Company, a premier gourmet food retail company located at the bustling Ferry Road Markets in Southport. Our Production Kitchen is seeking motivated and skilled kitchen staff to join our already established team.

As a renowned retail company specialising in gourmet food, we take pride in producing high-quality product lines for our Quench juice bars, Deli's, and various locations. Our offerings include gourmet sandwiches, fresh salads, and delectable take-home ready-made meals, along with an ever-changing selection of seasonal products.

Kitchen Attendant / Prep Chef (3:30am Starts)

Casual roles available

This position is being offered on a casual basis with the hours of work between 3:30am-12pm

Weekend availability

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will assist the kitchen team in making sandwiches,



wraps & salads daily.

Washing dishes

Making sure all prep areas are cleaned and sanitised

Basic kitchen experience is necessary.
Must be available to do a 3:30AM start
You must be physically fit, as this role requires you to be able to lift, carry and store products and kitchen equipment.
Good English communication skills (required)
Demonstrated experience in quick-paced kitchen environments.
Knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
You must be well-groomed.
Availability during the holiday season is essential.
