Due to recent high demand, we are seeking expressions of interests from Contracts or Procurement personnelto undertake initial 3 to 6 month assignments (extension options) with some well known State government entities.
These roles are based in Perth and most offer hybrid and versatile working arrangements.
Main duties and responsibilities:
Responsible for managing the activities for several key contracts, and developing and implementing the relevant contractual arrangements.
Supports the respective client`s branches with thorough stakeholder engagement and appropriate assistance with procurement and contracting matters.
Responsible for keeping senior management abreast of progress and issues, ensuring robust project management and reporting.
Develops detailed and highly professional documents, using robust analysis and reasoning, to communicate options and obtain buy-in for the recommended strategies and tactics.
Contributes to the clients strategic sourcing strategy and prepares procurement plans in line with strategy.
Essential work related requirements:
Experience in the contract lifecycle – focus on procurement (strategic planning, market engagement, implementation and management, and close out) of higher value, higher risk and/or complex contracts.
Holds a tertiary level qualification in a relevant commercial or trade discipline, or extensive equivalent experience; especially with WA State government entities.
Highly developed written, verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Ability to influence at all levels, and facilitate consensus.
Positive analytical and problem solving skills including financial analysis skills.
Possess the ability to apply information to the development of strategy and planning.
Desirable: Preference is for previous or current WA State government contracts or procurement exposure.
