Montgomery Advisory is partnering with a leading national law firm to recruit an Associate or Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Construction & Infrastructure team in Sydney.

This is an excellent prospect for a front-end construction lawyer to work on the procurement and delivery of major construction and infrastructure projects for blue-chip clients across a range of industries.

You’ll gain exposure to high-profile matters, direct mentoring from a highly regarded construction partner, and genuine opportunities for career progression within a collaborative national practice.

The Role

You will advise on a broad range of front-end construction and infrastructure matters, including:
Drafting and negotiating major construction and project agreements
Advising on procurement strategies and project delivery
Working on large-scale projects across the mixed-use, industrial, education, commercial and FMCG sectors
Acting for major developers, superannuation funds,



listed entities and international clients
Managing matters with increasing autonomy while mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to a team-oriented team culture

About You
3+ years' post-admission experience in front-end construction law
Robust drafting and contract negotiation skills
Excellent commercial judgement and a practical, solutions-focused approach
The ability to manage matters independently while working collaboratively within a high-performing team
A genuine interest in building a long-term career in construction and infrastructure
