Safety & Training Coordinator - Raisedrill

Reporting into the General Manager of Raiseboring, this full‑time role based in Brisbane will be responsible for coordinating and delivering the safety and training programs for Redpath Mining's Raisebore operations. You will play a key part in ensuring the health and safety of our workforce and driving a positive safety culture across the business.

Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate and deliver comprehensive safety and training programs for raisedrill operations
Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate risks
Provide safety and emergency response training to all raisedrill personnel
Investigate and report on incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Liaise with supervisors and managers to ensure all safety and training requirements are met
Maintain detailed records of all safety and training activities
Support the continuous improvement of safety systems and processes

Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety,



Mining or a related discipline
Extensive experience in a similar safety and training coordination role, ideally within the mining or resources sector
Excellent knowledge of workplace health and safety legislation, regulations and best practice
Robust interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and motivate others
Proficient in the use of safety and training software and systems
A passionate commitment to safety and a proactive approach to continuous improvement
