About The Role

This position is focused on community‑based, person‑centred care within the Canberra region. You will be working directly with our current client in their home and out in the community to support their daily lifestyle.

Your Day‑to‑day Activities Will Include
Providing high‑quality daily living support, community access, and companionship.
Using fluent AUSLAN to facilitate seamless communication,



social inclusion, and active community participation.
Assisting with meal preparation, domestic tasks, and transportation to appointments or social outings.
Maintaining safe, respectful settings and accurately logging shift outcomes.

What you bring
Language skills: Absolute fluency in AUSLAN is essential for this role.
Core values: A respectful, inclusive, and highly adaptable approach to supporting others.
Compliance & checks: A current ACT Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) card and NDIS Worker Screening clearance.
Qualifications: Current First Aid, CPR and manual handling certificates, or a willingness to obtain them quickly.
Transport: A valid driver’s licence and access to a reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle.
