Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm Role summary We are recruiting for two Multi-Skilled Engineers to join a small on-site engineering team within a busy food manufacturing operation. This is a varied role covering preventative maintenance, reactive repairs and continuous improvement across milling and packing equipment. It suits a practical engineer with robust electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills who enjoys working closely with operations in a hands-on workplace.
Key responsibilities - Deliver planned and condition-based preventative maintenance across electro-mechanical equipment - Carry out first-line reactive maintenance, diagnosing and resolving faults efficiently - Fabricate spare parts using lathe,
milling and welding equipment - Support continuous improvement projects across site equipment and processes - Maintain accurate maintenance records using the CMMS system - Liaise with on-site contractors where required - Maintain professional competence through ongoing training and development What we’re looking for - Level 3 Engineering qualification (electrical and mechanical disciplines preferred) - Solid electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills - Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings - Good fabrication capability - Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics and motion control systems - Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces - Basic PLC knowledge desirable - Experience within milling or similar processing environments advantageous Perks Pension scheme (auto enrolment)
