At Dentalcare Mt Barker, we're looking for an enthusiastic Dental Assistant / Receptionist to join our welcoming team on a part time basis. This is the perfect chance for someone who enjoys a varied role, combining chairside assisting with front desk reception duties.
You'll play an important role in creating a positive experience for our patients while supporting our clinicians to deliver exceptional care.
Job Description
As part of our close-knit team, you'll enjoy a mix of clinical and reception responsibilities, including:
Assisting dentists with a variety of clinical proceduresPreparing treatment rooms and maintaining infection control standardsSterilising instruments and managing clinical stockWelcoming patients and creating a positive first impressionAnswering phone calls and responding to patient enquiriesBooking and managing appointmentsProcessing payments and health fund claimsMaintaining accurate patient recordsWorking closely with the team to ensure the practice runs smoothly
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who:
Has previous Dental Assistant and/or Dental Reception experience (preferred)Is passionate about providing exceptional patient care and customer serviceHas excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIs organised, reliable and able to multitask in a busy environmentEnjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive teamHas a positive attitude and is happy to help wherever needed
