We’re partnering with a well-known national organisation to recruit an experienced Payroll Officer for an initial 3-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative payroll team within a large, rapid-paced business while providing support during a busy period.

The Role
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while providing exceptional internal customer service.
Key responsibilities include
End-to-end payroll processing
Maintaining employee payroll records
Processing current starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
Interpreting Awards and Enterprise Agreements
Responding to payroll enquiries from employees and managers
Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting
Supporting the wider payroll team as required
About You To be successful, you’ll have:
Previous payroll experience in a high-volume workplace
Strong knowledge of Australian payroll legislation
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
The ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Experience with large payroll systems will be highly regarded
